Here you are going to find the Basic Mods for primary weapons. This mods can be installed in any primary weapon, increasing its basic stats, no matter what kind of weapon is. The exception here are the Shotguns, but we talk about them other time.
Well, let’s go to work. The first mods we are going to talk about are the ones which affect basic stats: Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Damage and Fire Rate.
The most important mod here is Serration, which increases the basic weapon damage. At ran 0, this mods increases the damage 15%, and it improves it in 165% if it’s maximized, with a minimal cost of 4, and 14 when it’s maximized.
The next mod, Point Strike, will boost Critical Chance from a 25% at rank 0 to a 150% if it is maximized. The basis cost of this mod is 4, and it will be 9 when it is maximized.
Vital Sense mod will increase the Critical Damage multiplier from a 20% to a 120%, while its cost is increased from 4 to 9 at its maximum rank.
Finally, Speed Trigger mod will increase the Fire Rate, which means more damage in less time. At rank 0 it increases in 10%, and its increased in a 60% when its maximized. The basic cost of this mod is 4, and it will be 9 if it is maximized.
Now we are going to talk about the mods which add Elemental Damage to our primary weapons, like Heat, Toxin, Cold and Electric. These mods are:
Hellfire which, as its name indicates, adds Heat damage.
Infected Clip, which adds Toxin damage.
Cryo Rounds, which adds Cold damage.
And finally, Stormbringer, which adds Electric damage.
In all mods the additional damage is increased from 15% to 90% if it is maximized. The elemental damage will depend on total damage. This mods will have a cost from 6 to 11 in its maximum rank.
Do not forget that any Elemental Damage can be combined to create another kind of Elemental Damage.
In summary, what you have to do in your first steps is increase the Basic Damage, as well as your Damage Per Second (dps), and finally, Critical Damage and Critical Chance. This will help you in your first steps in this universe and will grant you a chance to test what build suits you better.
