Hey, hello everyone!
This time, know a little better this basic mods for Secondary Weapons will be our objective. These mods we are going to see can be installed in any secondary weapon, that’s why I call them “Basic”, among other reasons.
In the first place, let’s talk about those mods which increase the basic stats of your secondary weapons like Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Damage and Fire Rate.
The first mod, and maybe the most important one, is Hornet Strike, which increases the basic Damage from a 20% to a 220% when it is maximized. It doesn’t sound bad, right? Its cost increases from 4 to 14 in its maximum rank.
Next, a mod which increases the Critical Chance, is Pistol Gambit. This increase goes from a 20% to a 120%, and cost 4 in its minimum rank and 9 when it is maximized. Higher the Critical Chance is, more Critical Hits we deal.
Target Cracker mod boosts the Critical Damage multiplier we deal on every critical hit, and this mod increases it from 10% to 60%, and the cost also grows from 4 to 9 if you maximize it.
Gunslinger mod will increase Fire Rate from a 12% to a 72% in its maximum rank, while its cost increases from 4 to 9. This mod is used to increase the Damage per Second (dps) we deal with secondary weapons.
There is also four basic mods which add Elemental damage to secondary weapons, Heat, Toxin, Cold and Electric. These Elemental Damage mods are:
Heated Charge for Heat damage.
Pathogen Rounds for Toxin damage.
Deep Freeze which adds Cold damage.
And finally, Convulsion mod, which adds Electric damage.
All these mods add from a 15% to a 90% Elemental damage if they are maximized. The cost of these mods are the same for every one of them, 6 at their minimum rank and 11 at its maximum rank.
Remember that any Elemental Damage mod can be combined to create other Elemental Damage.
In conclusion, with these mods is increased the Basic damage, the Critical Chance and the Damage per Second (dps) of our Secondary Weapon. The Elemental Damage also increase the basic damage because it is added depending on the total weapon damage.
Well, now you are better prepared to start creating your builds and adapt them to your style and needs.
What do you think? This information was useful for you? I hope it is. Let me know if I left any mod or if you think others should be added to this list. All help will be well received.
See ya!
