Vox Solaris is the Quest which appear along with Fortuna and the Orb Vallis. This is an introductory Quest, where you will discover how life in Fortuna works, and the hardships Solaris live daily. Do not take it lightly, Tenno. This is a society under the Corpus boot, with a brutality hidden behind corporate benefits.
As you know, this is a spoiler free guide. We are also players, and the last we want is to spoil you the surprises hidden in each Quest of Warframe Universe. We are going step by step, so you can overcome all challenges, but the story is up to you to uncover.
The first thing you must do when you arrive to Fortuna is to talk with Eudico, the Solaris representative. She will ask you to help Thursby, a young merchant of Fortuna.
When you talk to Thursby he will tell you a plan he has to maintain his little business. Once you exhaust all dialogue options go to the gateway. Prepare yourselves, you are going into the Orb Vallis, Tenno.
When you are in the surface, Thursby will ask you to steal some Corpus caches. You will have eight minutes to find them all, and that’s enough time to search the entire area.
To be able to find them easily I recommend you to use one of these mods: Thief’s Wit (warframe) or Animal Instinct (companion). If you use them, the caches will appear marked in your minimap.
The next mission is to find, neutralize and hack a drone; and protect it until Eudico delete the recordings. When Eudico asked you to help Thursby, Do you expect it would be easy?
When you return to Fortuna you will see that Eudico is not at her place. Talk to Thursby, it seems that he has something to start his business after your “trip” in the Vallis. By the way your actions have not gone unnoticed… The Business wants to talk to you, he has an assignment for you.
When you go out to the Orb Vallis move to the indicated waypoint. You need to hack a console to obtain some information.
Once you have the information, Eudico will ask you to search for the corpses of some Solaris in the snow. The appear marked when you are within 30 meters of them. Do not waste your time, because the five minutes you have are both to find the corpses and to reach the facility where the rest of Solaris are.
When you arrive to the facility you will need to hack the console and stand you ground until the are released. Prepare yourselves for a Corpus assault, Tenno. During the battle you will see that some of the enemies are marked. These enemies have part of the security codes which will help you to increase the hacking speed of the door. When you kill them they will drop data keys, a blue orb you can pick up.
When you return to Fortuna talk to Eudico, she has a plan to solve all this mess. She will ask you to return to the Orb Vallis, she need Amarast, a mineral to be able to activate the coolant tower.
The next mission is to activate and protect excavators. These excavators need energy cells to function you can get by killing enemies.
When you return to Fortuna talk with Eudico again, she will ask you a last favor. To accept, selct the dialogue option “I will help”. Eudico will give you something she want you to deliver to the repo squad in exchange of the Solaris. Go to the waypoint and use the box. After that you have to protect the Gate of Fortuna.
After you talk with Eudico she will ask you to go out again to the Orb Vallis. Rocky lends you his K-Drive to go as fast as you can and avoid the Orb attacks.
Go to the tower access point and grant Access to Eudico. Now you will have to defend the console until Eudico finishes the overload process.
Finally, you will have to deliver the Amarast in the terminal of the coolant tower to contain the catastrophic failure.
When you complete the Quest you will be rewarded with the K-Drive launcher and the Garuda Blueprint, a warframe who hides and insatiable thirst of blood behind his delicate appearance.
