Defection missions are Lotus latest discovery, and a major headache if you want to do it alone. I recommend you that, if you have friends, take advantage of them, I mean, “collaborate” with them (I NEVER suggest that you take advantage of a friend). On the other side, you can do hitch-hiking
and join a random squadron, do it, because you need help to accomplish these Defection missions.
In these missions you have to help a group of Grineer defectors, escorting them to the evacuation point, and thus escape from a ship full of Infested, which try to kill them, and you if you interfere (and you are going to interfere, I’m sure).
The defectors appear in different parts of the ship, making one or several stops (depending where they appear) on “medical stations” which you have to charge to heal the Grineer defectors. If one of them is knocked down, you have one chance to revive him, and make sure you do it.
This missions also work with rotations (AABC), having to evacuate two groups of Grineer defectors to complete one rotation, and get your well deserved reward. Well, the humanitarian aid and the satisfaction of saving lives are very good, but now we are talking about other things. Are we? Hey! don’t look at me like that.
Here you’ve all the detailed info about the extra rewards you’ll get in these missions Tenno (extra credits, Resources and Experience).
|PLANET||MISSION||CRD.||BONUS RES.||BONUS EXP.||BONUS EXP. WEAPON|
The surprises don’t end here, of course, if you don’t pay attention to the defectors and the Infested take out 10 of them, Lotus will abort the mission, and you have 5 minutes to evacuate.
For those who expected something more, here you have that “something”. In case your hands aren’t full dealing with those Infested scum, once you unlock the second zone of “medical stations”, in this zone will appear Grineer Manics which try to kill everyone (a group of maniacs, homicidal psychopaths trying to kill everyone, what a surprise…).
And the final surprise? Well, it’s not the last, but this is also unpleasant, because when you have rescued seven groups of our friendly Grineer defectors, will also appear a complete squads known as “Red Veil Operatives” (if I’m not mistaken, these are the same guys who appear during the “Chains of Harrow” quest), a bunch of motherf**, and his primary target is to take the Grineer defectors down. it’s not that I am getting attached to these defectors, but their survival is the only way to get paid (I get paid and they live ¡Don’t judge me!).
And the good news is, in rotation C, which means, every eight successfully evacuated groups, you have the possibility to obtain Harrow Systems Blueprint.
Well, this is everything, I believe I didn’t forget anything (or at least anything important). If you think there is something missing. Let me know. I hope this info cal help you, see you soon Tenno.
